About

The Foundation

A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit unleashing the power of the wheelchair athlete.

Who We Are

More than a sport — it's freedom

The Freedom Power Soccer Foundation (FPSF) is based in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We celebrate the dynamic sport of power soccer and the extraordinary athletes who redefine what it means to be competitive.

Power soccer is the only competitive team sport designed for athletes who use power wheelchairs. For these athletes it's more than exercise — it's teammates, travel, competition, and the chance to represent something bigger than themselves.

But the sport is expensive. A single competition wheelchair can cost up to $11,000, and batteries, tournament travel, gym time, and league fees add up fast. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, FPSF collects and distributes funding and specialized equipment so athletes and teams have everything they need — and so no family ever pays out of pocket.

What We Stand For

Our values

Athletes First

Every decision starts with the athlete. We cover the real costs of competing so families can focus on the game, not the invoice.

Built by Power Soccer People

Our leadership has 13+ years in the sport — coaching, competing, and building teams. We know exactly what a program needs because we run one.

Independence & Inclusion

Power soccer is played with no guides or helpers on court. Every pass and goal belongs to the athlete. We protect and grow that independence.

Grassroots to Nationals

We nurture new programs and support competitive squads all the way to the US Power Soccer National Championships.
