The Rolling Rapids love watching the Rapids play at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park, so it was especially cool that Wayne, Kosi, Georgi, and Jackson took time to get into Strike Force chairs and play with the team.

Warm-up and 1v1s
Since all four Rapids players were far less experienced in power soccer than the Rolling Rapids, Coach Brian Broyles taught basic rules and pointers, then ran 1v1 rotations so everyone could get used to the chairs before the first scrimmage.
Cam Broyles wrote that he struggled mentally in the first half of game one before settling in, stopping overthinking, and playing loose — which is when he plays his best.
Scrimmage 1: Rolling Rapids 5, Rapids 0
The MLS players were surprised by how sensitive the chairs are and how much positioning matters. Georgi had the best chair control; Wayne and Jackson picked up red cards; Kosi led the group in red cards. Coach Brian sideline-coached the Rapids to keep things competitive. Assistant coach Richard Romito still led the Rolling Rapids to a 5–0 win in twenty minutes.
Scrimmage 2: mixed teams and chaos
Game two swapped players across teams — Jack and Cam on one side, Levi and Dom on the other — then got even wilder when Cam joined a five-player Rapids squad for the second half. Final score: about 4–1, with goals from Jack, Dom, Georgi, Kosi, and Cam.
Chairs, cameras, and interviews
For the first time at an event like this, there were enough Strike Force chairs for everyone. Richard arranged event documentation, and Caitlin Kinser and Annie Kelly brought a news film crew to capture the games and post-match interviews — the kind of visibility adaptive sports rarely get on a Monday night in Lakewood.
Why nights like this matter
The Foundation exists so teams like the Rolling Rapids can grow the sport — equipment, gym time, travel, and nights that introduce power soccer to new audiences. Thank you to the Colorado Rapids for coming back to play with us.
